Do you think grape jelly could ferment? Say you filled a giant wooden barrel with grape jelly, and put it in some basement in France...

A homemade Jam might work better because there are not as many preservatives but all you need is fruit, yeast, and a closed container so that the CO2 doesn't escape. Can you say anereobic Kreb Cycle?
