As I'm sure everyone is aware by now, the Supreme Court nomination of Harriet Miers, Mrs. Bush's choice for the Court, has been withdrawn. Oh wait. Sorry, this just in. Apparently it was Mr. Bush's choice.

Honestly, I think it would do the nation good if The Boss (of whom I am bound legally not to speak ill) got shut out once in a while like the rest of us. Maybe then he wouldn't be so quick to go about showing the world who's in charge.
All I'm saying is, be careful who you lump into "the rest of us."
