Wacky Question:

Inspired largely by the strange Muppet reference in the last post, and the fact that despite the strange Muppet reference in the last post one of my friends found it to be a less-wacky-than-normal post, I'm going to go ahead and ask people the following series of questions:

What Muppet are you?
Which do you resemble the most?
Which do you act the most like?
Which Muppet would you aspire to be?
Also, anyone who went to high school with me, when was the last time you talked to Muppet, and how're she and James doing? (We had a friend... we called her 'Muppet'...)

Ok, answer the dang question. I'm still thinking about my answer. But I know which Muppet I think my wife acts like...

Update
For your assistance, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muppets. You can be any Muppet you think of. Even one from Sesame Street, or, I suppose, Fraggle Rock.

Now you're the only one here who can tell me if it's true
That you love me and I love me

i would want to be the swedish chef. my senior year at crhs, in concert choir we sang a song called "el hambo" which was inspired by the swedish chef. the only real word in the whole song was hambo, which means dance. but the rest of the words were total nonsense and it was so much fun. it was a complex piece, yet a great time to learn and sing.
hey yeck-a deck-a doo dee ah dee hey yeck-a deck-a doo dee dahm bo
hey yeck-a deck-a doo dee ah dee oh di ah di oh di ambo
dahm dahm bark bark
(this wasn't how the words were spelled in the actual composition, but it's how i remember them sounding)

the song snippet comes from "Kiss me, son of God" by TMBG. As for which muppet I would be, I honestly dont know. Relative lack of exposure to the muppets can be cited for my uncertaintly.

Animal is my favorite, and I aspire to be like him. Though we probably have not much in common. Oh well. He's a crazy fellow.

Upon reflection I've decided that, despite my wishes to the contrary, I must admit that I am Scooter.

At first I thought maybe I was Grover, but that didn't quite fit.

Justin, yes, you're talking about the right person.

And if I had to aspire to be any muppet, it'd probably be Rizzo or Pepe.

Emily said...

Yeah, Rizzo is pretty neat.

At first I thought I'm probably Kermit, but I'm afraid I may be more of a Bert. Damn.
For aspirations, I could handle being Rolf.

No, Chris. You're Sam the Eagle.

Also, Laura is Statler and Waldorf. Or one or the other.

I am so Oscar the Grouch. Look, I finally am posting, but only with a muttering and grumbling under my breath. Let me pull my lid over my head as I duck into my awesome abode while people walk outside on the sidealk on bright beautiful days while I hide inside. Cool. I have always liked him and admired him. He's cool and grouchy and he doesn't care that people know he's grouchy. I like that. I don't want to put up a facade for people, even if I am something not everyone aspires to be. And let's face it, for the majority of my life, I could have been Oscar's understudy. :)

you know theresa, i would have pegged you for a miss piggy, but i think you have a better response. as for me, no clue. i'm still trying to figure it out. maybe kermit, everybody loves him, and everybody loves me. plus he sings. well, they all do, but he's one of the main stars, and that's me! at least i wish it was me. either that or i'm gonzo because he's so weird. and random. and that's me.

I will take the cookie monster route. He eats, I eat. I am a bit bigger, so was he... as far as who I aspire to be like... I will take either of the two critics in the balcony.

pretty sure that would be statler and waldorf, since that's who matt said laura would be. i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure i'm not.

Emily said...

Em I think YOU could pretty well be Miss Piggy...lol

I have to say that lately I've been most like Statler and/or Waldorf. As far as aspirations go, maybe Rowlf.

over the weekend, it was well established that if we were muppets, Rob Kempf and I would in fact be Statler and Waldorf.
