Does anyone out there know anything about copyrighting/patenting a board game idea? Or even better, about selling such an idea to a company that would pay me a lot of money for this idea?

what's your idea?
Well, I can't say in such a public forum, it might get stolen.
Fine. I don't know anything about copyrights or patents.
easiest way to copyright something is to write the idea down and send it to yourself in the mail, then you have a copy of it sealed and postmarked by the government, so no one can argue the date you thought of it. my moms friend does it with all of his song lyrics
monopoly, twenty-one, checkers and chess. . .yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
