It occurs to me that God must like dissonance. Is there any other way to explain all the people with horrible singing voices?

Momentum for the sake of momentum

I'm working on a theory about the potentially inverse relationship of quality singing/music and genuine Christian behavior. A corollary may involve the direct relationship between volume of singing and servant-like attitude. I think there may be doctoral potential here.

Cal, if you're right, I might be in trouble. And my wife, who is exponentially more patient and kind than me, is downright screwed.

Jenni's a voice teacher. She tells many of her students who struggle with confidence issues, "If only the best birds sang, the forest would be a very quiet place."

I don't think God likes dissonance; I think he scores on a different scale. A worthy notion for the Americans idle among us.
